One of the things that you might want to think about as your home business grows is the idea of outsourcing your work so that you can make more profit. If you yourself can produce 100 units of whatever you sell per week, that means that each person you hire can produce 100 units. Even if you have to pay each person that works for you a percentage of the 100 units that you sell because of them, you are getting money for them working for you, because of all of the extra orders that you can take. The best way to outsource is to find people who are just breaking into whatever field your business is located in, because they will be willing to work for less money than you do, because they are just starting out. How it works is that you hire them, and then you continue to take orders as you always have – expect that if you have hired 10 people you can now produce 1000 of whatever you are making instead of simply 100. You pay the people a percentage of what you make on the units, and you keep the rest as profits. This is the best way to build your profits up, and to build your business as well. Eventually you will have to replace some of your employees, because the longer that people work for you, the more experience they are going to get, and when it comes right down to it, eventually you will have to either pay them more, or find other workers who are just starting out and will work for less. However, the longer you do this, the more and more orders you are going to be able to get, and the more employees you can have. When you own a business, no matter if you run it from your home or if you have an office building that your business is located in, making time for your kids is always something that you want to focus on, and it is always something that you are going to be concerned with. When you are running a business, the tendency that you are going to have to fight the most is the one that tells you to work all of the time. It is a funny paradox, because a lot of the time, a person goes into their own business so that they don’t’ have to work so much, and so that they can set their own hours. This happens very often – however, when a person decides to have a home business, what happens next is that they come up with something that they love, and something that they are very passionate about. This, coupled with the fact that the business is now located in their home or very close to their home makes lots of people feel like they should work all of the time. There is a real tendency that you have to fight to work for 24 hours a day and to never take a day off. Good To Be A hard Worker First of all, be proud of yourself for wanting to work so hard. If you have found something that you love to do, and you are enjoying your job, that is a great thing for you and for your future. You should feel good about that fact that your job means a lot to you, and you should feel like you have accomplished something by allowing yourself to be happy in your job. However, you have to remember that no matter how much you like your job, and no matter how happy you are with what you are doing for a living, you simply have to take a day off now and then and you have to give yourself vacations. You might not think that they are necessary if you love your job, but if you don’t give yourself the proper amount of time off, you are going to find that you get burned out much more easily than you would normally do. However, before you start looking you may want a better understanding of what network marketing is all about and how it compares to pyramid schemes. There is a vast difference between pyramid schemes and network marketing in that pyramids schemes can only grow so far until they collapse and once they do, for everyone who loses money, someone makes money. In its simplicity, a person gives you a dollar with the promise they will get their money back when they convince two or three people to give them a dollar. They get to keep half of whatever they collect and pass the rest on to you as a reward for showing them how to get money from people with no promise of anything in return except the knowledge of how to ask their friends and relatives for money. Soon, the person who started this pyramid has a ton a of money and the last person in is out his dollar. However, people did not start these schemes for change. They went for big money with a minimum investment typically being $500 or more. Not only are some people going to lose a lot of money, these schemes are illegal in most states. Network marketing involves the sale of legitimate products or services by a legitimate network of dealers and usually has no large initial investment and in addition to being authorized to sell the product or service, dealers are encouraged to add to their own sales staff and retain a percentage of the sales of those folks for their efforts in training them. Whether it is door-to-door vitamin sales or internet advertising there is a legitimate network marketing opportunity that can be operated as a home based business in which you can believe and successfully make money. It is just a matter of finding the right one for you. Caution should be used, however as every once in awhile a pyramid scheme pops up under the disguise of network marketing with the push on to recruit others of a paid opportunity to earn money by recruit others and very little is said about the product or service being offered. Additional scrutiny may be warranted is more emphasis is placed on recruiting dealers, who have to pay a fee in order to make money from their recruits, and very little is said about the product, if it even exists. However, if you are interested in finding a home based business opportunity in network marketing do your homework, or you can pay for one of numerous books being sold based on others experience of their involvement with unscrupulous online marketing companies. MLM is an acronym that stands for “Multi Level Marketing.” Multi level marketing is a business model wherein you are directed to recruit more members into the network. Anyone that you sign-up into the program is considered one of your first-level members. If your first-level members sign-up other people, then the newcomers are considered your second-level members, and so on and so forth. Multi level marketing bears a striking similarity to network marketing programs. The main difference lies in how you earn money from each program. In a network marketing scheme you can earn money by selling your partner’s products; you may also earn money by getting more downlines. In an MLM opportunity, on the other hand, you only earn money when you recruit new affiliates or members. What is a Downline? “Downline” is a term used to describe people whom you have recruited, directly or indirectly, under the terms of a multi level marketing opportunity. Downlines are most often the source of rewards in an MLM set-up. Generally, the more downlines you have, the higher the income you can expect to have. What is a Commission Plan? When deciding on which MLM or network marketing program to join, one of the most important things you should consider is the commission structure. This is the factor that will most directly affect your income under the MLM opportunity. Usually, you will receive a percentage of sales according to the number and proximity of downlines that you have. For instance, you might to stand to earn 30 percent of first level sales, 20 percent of second level sales, etc., or perhaps 30 percent of a first level recruit’s membership fee. Additionally, most companies offer bonuses to their members when certain sales volumes or recruitment metrics have been reached. What is an autoship? An autoship is a unique insurance policy that might be either beneficial or harmful, depending in the person involved. In an MLM or network marketing opportunity, you only get paid once you’ve reached a certain target volume. However, some people sign up for programs and consequently do not do any work at all – and yet expect commissions from the work that other people have done. An autoship policy prevents such people from taking undue advantage of the work of others – it automatically orders a minimum amount of a product or service to be paid for by the representative. This policy does not affect active members, but will certainly be a problem for inactive members. Anything else I need to know? Yes. MLM opportunities are excellent moneymaking programs. However, do not make the mistake that everything will be easy or effortless. Multi level marketing is a business, and profits have to be made before commissions are paid out.
